STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

– Expand the number of defense-capable companies in the Vandalia – Butler Chamber of Commerce’s membership.
– Increase Department of War (DoW), prime, and subcontract awards to local firms.
– Reduce supply-chain fragility through regional sourcing and redundancy.
– Build a security-aware, cleared, and skilled workforce pipeline.
– Serve as the Chamber’s authoritative body on war-related economic development.

SCOPE OF ACTIVITY

– Industry coordination and capability mapping.
– Workforce and training alignment.
– Government contracting readiness (non-lobbying).
– Technology transition and innovation support.
– Secure collaboration forums (until Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) facilities are built in the locality, the Subcommittee will seek to be able to support Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) meetings and discussion when needed).
